Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking part-time math instructors to teach at our Tacoma center. You will engage students in K–12 math, delivering instruction aligned with the Mathnasium Method and developing individualized plans. Training is provided, and you’ll work with a diverse group of students.

Ideal candidates are strong in math, enthusiastic, and able to communicate clearly. A passion for helping students succeed and a commitment through the school year are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong math proficiency through calculus
• Passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• High motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm
• Classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus
• Desire to work through the entire school year is required

Hiring Process:

• In-person interview at our center and complete a math exam with a passing score.
• Successfully pass a Background Check.

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
