Job summary

Grayson College in Denison, Texas is seeking student tutors for the Math Hub to support fellow students in assigned subjects. This position is open only to current Grayson College students and pays $15.00 per hour.

Tutors must work a minimum of 3 hours per week and may not exceed 15 hours weekly; sessions are scheduled around tutor and student availability. Applicants must maintain a 3.0 GPA overall and a 4.0 in any course tutored.

Job description

Provides tutoring under the supervision of the Math Hub Coordinator.

Work Schedule: Tutors work a minimum of 3 hours per week. Tutoring sessions are scheduled according to tutor and student availability. Generally, tutoring occurs during the hours that Math Hub is open. Tutors may not work more than 15 hours per week.

***This position is only open to current Grayson College students.***

This position pays $15.00/hour.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• 90% Tutors students in assigned subjects.
• 5% Participates in tutor training sessions as part of the tutor certification program.
• 5% Performs other duties as assigned.

• Complies with all laws and regulations related to tutoring in higher education.
