Job summary

Salt Lake Community College seeks a Coordinator to provide instructional leadership for Foundations for Mathematical Success and the Learning Assistant program. The role coordinates curriculum development, assessment, faculty support, and pedagogy to improve student learning and success.

The Coordinator will evaluate program effectiveness, create instructional resources, train faculty, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and best practices in mathematics education.

Qualifications

• Experience in mathematics instruction, curriculum development, educational assessment, faculty development, academic support services, or a related area.
• Experience developing instructional materials, training programs, or curriculum resources.
• Experience with instructional technologies and learning management systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to develop, maintain, and enhance instructor training materials.
• Enroll new instructors in the Instructor Training course and monitor completion of all required training.
• Track instructor participation and completion of pre-semester training requirements.
• Assist with revision and updating of instructor resources, including the Instructor Guide, Instructor Letters, etc.
• Provide support during faculty onboarding and training initiatives to ensure instructional consistency.
