Position Overview

We are seeking a High School Math Teacher to provide personalized, in-person, one-on-one instruction at Augustine Hills School in Wilmington, Delaware. This role offers a part-time, flexible schedule, ideal for educators passionate about individualized student engagement.

Responsibilities include developing tailored lesson plans, delivering engaging lessons that relate math to real-life contexts, maintaining accurate documentation, collaborating with stakeholders, and adapting teaching strategies for students with learning differences.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 3 years of high school mathematics classroom teaching experience (excluding tutoring or student teaching).
• Experience in creating lesson plans, documenting progress, and grading weekly.
• Ability to adapt instruction based on student needs and engagement.
• Reliable transportation to report onsite in Wilmington, DE.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Education or Mathematics.
• Experience teaching multiple high school math subjects.
• Teaching certification.
• Experience with IEPs or students with learning differences.
