Job summary

Montgomery Public Schools is seeking an experienced teacher with a valid Alabama professional educator certificate in ECE, elementary, or special education. A master's degree or the recommended professional development by the Elementary Mathematics Task Force is preferred, and candidates must pass a background check

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Alabama professional educator certificate in early childhood education, elementary education, or special education.
• Minimum of five years of experience as an early childhood, elementary, or special education teacher.
• Demonstrate expertise in mathematics instruction and interventions, including dyscalculia interventions.
• Master's degree or completion of professional development recommended by the Elementary Mathematics Task Force, or both.
• Background check via ABI and FBI under the Alabama Child Protection Act; fingerprinting and fees.
