Position Summary: Our campus has an immediate opening for a Math / Science Teacher. This position provides a student-centered, supportive classroom that promotes resourcefulness, critical thinking, self-awareness, and inclusion while addressing the individual academic and emotional needs of each student through Fusion's differentiated approach.

Description

  • Provide one-to-one teaching in Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and possibly Statistics for grades 6-12.
  • Adapt and differentiate instruction for all students and foster holistic growth.
  • Maintain accurate teacher and student records.
  • Develop positive communication with parents.
  • Contribute to and benefit from the campus community.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and reflection.
  • Mentor students as part of the role.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as tutoring part-time students.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a strong Math and/or Science background.
  • Solid knowledge in Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and possibly Statistics for grades 6-12.
  • Teaching credentials are a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience with students with learning differences and ADHD is beneficial.
  • Outgoing, organized, computer literate, and eager to work in a dynamic school setting.
  • Prepared to teach and tutor high school level material immediately.
