Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality math and/or reading instruction tailored to students' individual academic needs.
• Deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons using evidence-based instructional practices.
• Use diagnostic assessment results to identify learning gaps and establish instructional goals.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Monitor student progress through ongoing assessments and instructional activities.
• Maintain accurate attendance, instructional records, and progress-monitoring documentation.
• Communicate student progress and concerns to program administrators.
• Establish a positive, encouraging, and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed teachers or retired teachers are encouraged to apply.
• Successfully complete a background check.

Schedule & Compensation

• Time Commitment: Exactly 2 hours per week.
• Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099).
• Instructional Format: In-person and/or online tutoring.
• Compensation: $50 per student per one-hour tutoring session.
• 1 student: $50 per hour
• 2 students: $100 per hour
• 3 students: $150 per hour
• 4 students: $200 per hour (in-person only)
• Group Size: Maximum of 4 students for in-person tutoring and 3 students for online tutoring.

Compensation is based on the number of students in each tutoring group.
