Job summary

Boston Medical Center in Brockton is seeking a Maternity Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive obstetric care across the spectrum from infant to elderly, including care for diverse patient needs and non-English speakers.

The role requires labor and delivery competency, MA RN licensure with BLS, ACLS, NRP, and a Nursing degree with the ability to obtain a BSN within 4 years. The position includes night shifts and every-other-weekend scheduling.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in MA with current BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
• Labor and delivery experience required.
• Nursing degree (Diploma, ASN or BSN) with ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across the infant-to-elderly spectrum with diverse needs.
• Maintain competency in Labor & Delivery procedures and sterile field management.
• Collaborate in planning, teaching, and patient education; ensure patient rights.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, clinical, organizational, and computer skills.
• Lift, transfer and move patients; communicate in English.
