The Nursing Faculty position in Charleston, SC requires delivering high-quality instruction in classroom, lab, and clinical settings, supporting student success and maintaining accreditation standards.

Reporting to the Nursing Department Head, you will design courses, evaluate student progress, and ensure records comply with policies while contributing to program development and service activities.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in nursing education or MSN in another area, with willingness to complete post-master’s certificate in Nursing Education or successfully complete the CNE examination within three (3) years of hire.
• Current, unrestricted South Carolina RN license.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in the primary area of teaching responsibility: Maternity Nursing.

Aufgaben

• Teach nursing courses in classroom, lab, and/or clinical settings using effective instructional practices that promote student learning and engagement.
• Develop, review, and update course materials, syllabi, and instructional content aligned with program outcomes, accreditation standards, and best practices in nursing education.
• Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, advise students on academic progress, and support student retention and success.
• Maintain accurate academic records, submit required reports, and ensure compliance with institutional policies and accrediting and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in program development, curriculum improvement, student recruitment, and collaborate with faculty and college departments.
• Engage in professional development, committee work, college service activities, and perform other duties as assigned.
