The role focuses on delivering assessments, counseling, and intervention planning, while collaborating with families, teachers, and support staff to promote student growth and well-being and to develop IEPs.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement.
• Strong knowledge of evaluation tools, intervention strategies, and special education procedures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and intervention planning.
• Foster a welcoming, student-centered environment that encourages growth, inclusion, and resilience.
• Partner with families, teachers, and support personnel to create and carry out individualized support plans.
• Contribute to building a positive school culture where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that reflect each student’s unique strengths and needs.
• Facilitate professional development sessions to provide school staff with practical strategies for promoting student learning and well-being.
