Job summary

Responsibilities

Reports to the director and follows daily plans for the substitute period.
Maintains routines and classroom procedures per the absent teacher's plans.
Oversees student behavior in the classroom and during activities.
Assists with classroom prep and cleanup of activities.
Ensures health and safety of the children in care.
Engages with small groups and free play opportunities.
Communicates professionally with students and parents.
Follows school policies and relevant early childhood standards.
