Job summary

Oula in Greenwich, CT is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our maternity care team. You will support patient flow, perform routine clinical tasks, and help create a smooth, patient-centered experience across our clinics.

Ideal candidates will have phlebotomy skills, comfort with EMRs, and a collaborative mindset. A healthcare background in maternity care and a flexible schedule are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of healthcare experience.
• Proficient in phlebotomy.
• Solid knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience in pregnancy or maternity care is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMRs.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Patient rooming & clinical support.
• Follow-up & care coordination.
• Clinic flow & team-based operations.
• Perform responsibilities within MA scope of practice.
• Maintain proficiency with equipment; report issues promptly.
• Follow universal precautions and safely dispose of medical waste.
• Anticipate and complete tasks that need attention even if unassigned.
• Support cross-site coverage as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
