Job summary
UCHealth in Aurora, CO is hiring a Registered Nurse for Women and Infants on the Night shift in the Mother/Baby units across the Metro Denver area. This is a full-time onsite role with 72 hours per pay period.
You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support mothers and newborns. Requires RN license, NRP and BLS/CPR certification, and 6 months of Women and Infants experience or UCHealth Fellowship.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 6 months Women and Infants RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship.
- NRP within 6 months of hire.
- BLS/CPR certification and card valid through start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide top-of-scope direct patient care using the nursing process.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Precept new staff and learners in the clinical setting.
- Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
- Engage in ongoing evidence-based practice and professional development.
