Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• RN license in North Carolina required.
• Preferred: nursing education or student supervision experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical instruction aligned with course objectives, approved curriculum, and student learning outcomes.
• Orient students to clinical expectations, facility policies, safety protocols, and professional nursing standards.
• Supervise and support students in the clinical setting to promote safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Evaluate student clinical performance, provide timely feedback, and document competencies and clinical evaluations by established deadlines.
• Communicate professionally with students, faculty, clinical partners, and program leadership.
• Monitor student progress and communicate concerns to the course lead or Program Coordinator.
• Maintain accessibility to students for questions and guidance during clinical experiences.
• Adhere to institutional and program policies, documentation requirements.
• Complete required meetings and professional development for adjunct faculty.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by Dean or Department Chair.
