• Function as a clinical educator and nursing service expert.
• Assess learning needs of clinical staff and implement evidence-based education to enhance maternal-fetal care.
• Develop and implement orientation plans for new employees and follow orientees through their orientation.
• Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Professional Development to adjust the program based on evaluation results.
• Coordinate, mentor and work with new orientees and preceptors.
• Collaborate with OB team to conduct simulations/drills to follow regulatory standards.
• Monitor nursing care quality standards and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Attend and participate in committees to represent nursing staff needs and the individual population.
