Job summary

Sga-Youth- seeks a Maternal & Infant Health Nurse Consultant to provide professional nursing services under the Midwest Healthy Start Program on a contract basis. Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license in good standing.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Minimum five years in maternal-child health or related fields.
• Experience serving diverse and underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maternal and infant health assessments for program participants.
• Provide prenatal care, postpartum recovery, newborn care, nutrition, and chronic disease education.
• Coordinate nursing services with obstetrical providers, pediatricians, and community partners.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EHR systems and protect participant confidentiality.
