Job summary

Providence Centralia Hospital is seeking an experienced nursing leader to serve as Manager, Family Birth Center. This role provides operational, clinical, educational, and personnel leadership for a community-based Family Birth Center with ~650 deliveries annually.

Reporting to the Director of Women & Children's Services, you’ll oversee LDRP, newborn care, obstetric services, and triage functions while acting as educator and competency leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or current enrollment in a BSN program.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 3 years of Acute care professional experience (within the last 7 years).

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 leadership for Family Birth Center operations.
• Lead staffing, patient flow, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as department educator, overseeing orientation, competencies, and staff development.
• Partner with physicians, certified nurse midwives, pediatric providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and caregiver engagement.
