Job summary

UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist for Maternal Fetal Medicine imaging. The role involves performing ultrasound exams, educating patients, and collaborating with physicians to ensure high-quality imaging.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited ultrasound program credential, ARDMS/RDCS/RVT/ARRT certification, and BLS. Preference given to candidates with Maternal Fetal Medicine experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
• ARDMS/RR/ARRT sonography certification required or state licensure if applicable.
• BLS certification required; Maternal-Fetal Medicine experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonography according to scope and practice standards.
• Review patient history and orders; educate patients about procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast meds as appropriate and monitor patient condition.
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment; ensure image quality and safety.
