Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Colorado Springs is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specialized in Maternal Fetal Medicine to perform obstetric ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires RDMS/RVT/RDCS or ARRT certification with state licensure if required; maternal fetal medicine experience strongly preferred. BLS certification is mandatory, and prior ultrasound experience in MFM is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
• RDMS/RVT/RDCS or ARRT certification required; state licensure if required.
• Maternal Fetal Medicine experience strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history, orders and schedules exams; educates patients on procedures and equipment.
• Monitors patient condition and adjusts imaging parameters as needed.
• Ensures safety standards and quality control; troubleshoots equipment issues.
• Positions patient and conducts imaging procedures; enters and reports results.
