Qualifications

Completion of training in General OB/GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine equivalent to ACGME and ABOG accredited programs.
Eligible for Medical license in Virginia.
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations with professionalism and civility.

Responsibilities

Provide specialty care in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, including labor and delivery coverage, in- and outpatient consultation, prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, management of high-risk pregnancy, and related procedures.
Participate in teaching students, residents, and fellows, and contribute to departmental educational objectives.
Initiate and lead research projects; mentor MFM Fellows, Ob/Gyn residents, and medical students in research and publications.
Serve on departmental, hospital, and university committees and engage in departmental administrative activities.
Engage in clinical activities including obstetric clinics, Ob/Gyn ultrasound, and labor and delivery coverage; participate in non-site-specific duties as assigned.
