Job Specifics:
- Outstanding clinical opportunity for BE/BC Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join a growing perinatal subspecialty practice.
- Join three other board-certified Maternal-Fetal subspecialists committed to providing high-quality, compassionate, evidence-based, and cost-sensitive perinatal care to families of the Illinois North Central Perinatal Region. We emphasize communication, collaboration, education, and consultation.
- Supported by five APPs, ARDMS-certified sonographers working in an AIUM-certified unit, two diabetes educators, and a perinatal nutritionist. Genetic counselors from the University of Illinois College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics are available for consultation.
- The MFM physicians are highly regarded in the community and have a collaborative and collegial working relationship with local and regional referring physicians.
- Saint Francis Medical Center laborists care for the majority of deliveries of the MFM patient population.
- The North Central Perinatal Network comprises 28 hospitals and 25 local county health departments in Central Illinois.
- The maternal-fetal medicine service at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL, provides comprehensive consultation and management services for all aspects of high-risk pregnancies. Collaborating with adult neonatal and pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists, our group aims to optimize every pregnancy.
- Call is shared equally among the perinatologists (currently 1:4).
