Advantia Health seeks a Board-Certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to join our women's health team in Silver Spring, MD and Alexandria, VA. This outpatient-focused role includes OB/GYN care, ultrasound, and collaborative leadership within a skilled clinical team.

Qualifications

• Board certification in General Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Maternal-Fetal Medicine is required or preferred.
• Maryland/Virginia/DC medical license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major OB/GYN surgical procedures.
• Prevent, diagnose, and treat OB/GYN conditions.
• Provide leadership and oversight to medical staff.
• Support technology improvements to drive quality and experience.
• Conduct patient histories, exams, and order/interpret tests.
• Participate in quality-improvement initiatives.
• MFM role is outpatient with some inpatient consults.
• Work Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts with a clinical team.
• Manage ultrasound services and fetal assessments including NSTs and early screenings.
• Antenatal assessment interpretation including NST and biophysical profile.

We are seeking a compassionate, team-oriented physician who prioritizes patient care, delivers exceptional experiences, and stays at the forefront of women's health innovations. This opportunity is at both our Silver Spring, MD location and Alexandria, VA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform both minor and major surgical procedures.

• Prevent, diagnose, and treat a full range of OB/GYN conditions.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to medical staff-including nurses, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants-ensuring adherence to proper procedures and protocols.

• Support enhancements of technology to drive higher quality and consumer experience while maintaining clinical quality.

• Conduct patient examinations, obtain medical histories, and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.

• Participate actively in internal quality-improvement initiatives and collaborate with team members to drive proactive improvements.

• Maternal-Fetal Medicine role is primarily outpatient, with some inpatient consultations.

• Work Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, supported by a highly skilled clinical team.

• Manage high-volume ultrasound services, including interpreting fetal echocardiograms, first-trimester screenings, fetal anatomic surveys, and performing amniocentesis (CVS experience valued but not required).

• Antenatal assessment interpretation including NST, biophysical profile

Qualifications:

• Board certified in General Obstetrics and Gynecology

• Board Certified or Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine

• Previous experience in a Maternal-Fetal Medicine role is preferred.

• Active Medical License in the State of Maryland/Virginia/DC is strongly preferred.

Annual Compensation Range based on years of experience: $325,000 -$475,000
