The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support the Maternal Fetal Medicine Division in obstetrics. The role encompasses coordinating daily research activities, screening records, enrolling participants, and ensuring informed consent is obtained in alignment with IRB and sponsor requirements.

The successful candidate educates patients about study goals, schedules follow-up visits, and assists with data collection, specimen handling and safety

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in biological, health, social sciences or related medical field (or equivalent).
• At least 1 year of clinical research experience required.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and IRB processes preferred.
• Background check and pre-employment screening may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily clinical research activities in accordance with approved protocols.
• Identify eligible patients, recruit, interview and enroll participants, and obtain informed consent.
• Educate patients and families about the study purpose, goals and procedures.
• Schedule and follow through on visits, procedures and testing per protocol.
• Assist with collection, processing and evaluation of biological samples.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report to appropriate professionals and sponsors.
