Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey is seeking an experienced registered nurse in the Maternal Child department to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care across a diverse population. You will collaborate with the health care team, document care plans, and contribute to safe medication administration and smooth patient transitions.

Required NJ nursing license and BLS/CPR; 1 year of Maternal Child RN experience preferred; BSN preferred or to be obtained within 3 years.

Qualifications

• NJ nursing license required
• Active American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required
• 1 year RN experience in Maternal Child areas preferred (post partum, nursery, NICU, etc.)
• NRP and ACLS preferred, must obtain within 6 months of hire
• BSN preferred or to be obtained within 3 years

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing care according to evidence-based policies to provide safe patient-centered care
• Ongoing communication with patients and health-care team regarding status and treatment plans
• Ensure optimal patient/guest satisfaction and care experience according to standards
• Medication administration using updated documentation technology for safe delivery
• Patient and family-centered care to optimize health and disease management
• Interdisciplinary collaboration to manage care plan from admission to discharge
