Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research, policies, and standards of care to provide safe, patient-centered care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and the health care team regarding patient status and care plans.
• Responsible for optimal patient satisfaction and care experience according to Hackensack Meridian Health standards.
• Medication administration with safe documentation using the latest clinical systems.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration to manage the plan of care from admission to discharge.
