Job summary

Agile Sourcing Partners is hiring a Materials Management Operating Engineer in Boonville, NY. You will safely move materials, operate forklifts, telehandlers, and wheel-loaders, and organize yard storage.

This role requires outdoor work, adherence to safety policies, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically. The position emphasizes daily equipment checks, inventory control, and coordination with drivers and site personnel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years in a heavy operator role.
• OSHA 10/30 Certification.
• Experience with moving and managing materials up to 50,000 lbs.
• Experience outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Experience in shipping and receiving.
• Experience with inventory control and cycle counting.
• Experience in warehouse or construction yards.

Responsibilities

• Receive, offload, stage, inspect, and store all incoming material shipments in accordance with company procedures.
• Pull and stage material orders for shipment.
• Load staged materials on trucks following handling procedures.
• Perform periodic cycle counts of inventoried materials.
• Ensure materials receipt, storage, and shipment meet quality and safety expectations.
• Store product by designated storage areas and adjust as needed.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment and educate personnel on equipment use.
• Operate equipment to unload, store, and load materials on site.
• Interface with customer representatives on site.
• Conduct daily equipment checks for safe operation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety rules, and site procedures.
