Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1–3 years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with analytical instruments such as ICP-OES, OES and combustion analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and chemical sample preparation.
• Mechanical prep includes cutting, drilling and grinding metal samples.
• Chemical prep includes acid digestions and dilutions of metal samples.
• Analyze samples with various analytical instruments.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration.
• Record data and observations accurately in datasheets and LIMS.
