Job summary

Terradyne Engineering is seeking a construction materials testing technician to inspect, test, and evaluate soils, aggregate, and concrete to ensure compliance with project specs and regulatory standards. The role emphasizes outdoor work, safety, and accurate record-keeping.

You will generate field records, work in varying weather conditions, and lift up to 60 pounds while following established safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean MVR, background and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and understand data and document collected information.
• Construction experience (preferred, not required).
• Enjoys working outdoors and has good communication skills.
• Ability to conduct field and laboratory testing on construction materials.
• Can carry up to 60 pounds and work in varying weather.
• Demonstrates safety-mindedness and attention to detail.
• Strong time management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregate, and concrete.
• Generate field records of test results and related construction activities for project compliance documentation.
• Work outdoors in different weather conditions and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Demonstrate reliability, honesty and a 'can do' attitude.
