Job summary

Utah Testing and Engineering, a Sunrise Engineering subsidiary, is seeking a Materials Testing Technician to support our Cedar City lab and field operations. The role involves hands-on inspection and testing of construction materials to verify conformance with plans and specifications.

You will prepare daily written reports, handle job paperwork, and operate under the Inspector's direction. The position requires 0-3 years in materials testing, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of materials testing experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and the ability to maintain company vehicle.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Desired ICC or ACI certifications (or ability to obtain within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test materials in the field and lab to verify conformance with construction plans and specifications.
• Prepare and complete daily written reports and paperwork for each job.
• Perform duties at the direction of the Inspector.

Your Impact The Materials Testing Technician provides both strategic and operational support to service center managers throughout the organization. Prepare and complete daily written reports. Complete paperwork for each job. Perform inspection and testing of materials in the field and lab in order to verify conformance of construction plans and specifications. Complete various duties at the direction of the Inspector.
