Job summary

Raba Kistner, Inc. in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Consultants team. You will sample, process, and test construction materials in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, DOT, and US Army Corps guidelines, documenting results accurately.

Work includes maintaining equipment, calibrations, preparing samples, and adhering to safety programs. Candidates should have a high school diploma or related certifications and be prepared to obtain additional industry certifications

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and/or one of the listed industry certifications.
• Valid driver's license required.
• If no certifications, obtain at least one within six months with supervisor support.

Responsibilities

• Sample, process and test construction materials per established procedures (ASTM, AASHTO, DOT, USACE).
• Document testing results and hours worked for billing.
• Maintain calibration and routine maintenance of lab equipment.
• Keep a neat, safe laboratory and work space; follow safety programs.
