Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Lab Technician for a 6-month assignment in Chanhassen, MN 55317. Pay is $25-$35/hr, based on experience, with potential extension or conversion based on performance and budget.

You will perform mechanical, electrical, and thermal property testing on thermal interface materials and coatings, record data, and maintain detailed lab documentation. BS required and 1 year lab experience; Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred.

Qualifications

• BS required.
• 1 year of lab experience required.
• Experience with mechanical/electrical/thermal property testing of materials or coatings preferred.
• Experience with safe lab practices preferred.
• Experience with Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and thermal testing on thermal interface materials and coatings.
• Accurately record and organize experimental data and maintain lab documentation.
• Assist senior technicians and chemists in executing experiments and following safety protocols.
• Enter data into computer systems and prepare charts, tables, notebooks, and PowerPoint presentations to communicate results.
