Join to apply for the Materials Technician T3 role at Schneider Electric

  • Cycle count raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials on a daily basis. This will involve opening cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity.
  • Assist other warehouse personnel in determining root causes of inventory inaccuracies.
  • Perform random audits to ensure root cause corrective actions are followed throughout the production process .
  • Ensure materials are in proper locations.
  • Ensure items and racks are properly labeled.
  • Locate misplaced or misidentified inventory.
  • Collect scrap log sheets and update a database.
  • Maintains good housekeeping and cleans equipment.
  • Sorts and disposes of scrap.
  • Follows 5S Principles in their work area.

What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Qualifications that will impact success are experience in a warehouse inventory environment; Microsoft Excel; good communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; attention to detail; prior use of powered industrial trucks such as Genie lift. Experience with barcode scanning systems, and Windows based computer knowledge.
  • Prior SAP experience.
