Materials Technician

Full Time

Responsibilities

Position Summary

As a Materials Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the Materials Manager with stocking needed daily supplies, processing daily deliveries, and other related duties. These may include collecting daily charge data, entering and logging charges for each department, ordering supplies, managing rental equipment, submitting invoices, and moving equipment.

Specific Duties

• Assist the Materials Manager in departmental operations.
• Receive all deliveries, inspect items for damage or defects, verify completeness and accuracy, and notify departments of any discrepancies.
• Maintain an updated Material Safety Data Sheet manual for items handled and stocked in Stores.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of previous storeroom/shipping and receiving experience preferred.
