USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Woodlands Parkway in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a motivated Materials Tech to join our team. The center has four OR rooms and one treatment room, performing outpatient procedures in Orthopedics, Neurology, ENT, Pain Management, Podiatry and Plastic Surgery.

The Materials Technician is responsible for procurement, receiving and stocking supplies and assisting Accounts Payable with invoice packets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years minimum receiving and inventory experience; health care environment preferred.
• Strong customer service background.
• Strong math and counting skills required.
• Type minimum of 40 wpm preferred.
• Computer experience required (Office applications).
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation for product returns to vendors.
• Transfers products between departments.
• Receives purchase orders.
• Receives products into Materials Management Information System.
• Stocks storeroom and readies stock for distribution.
• Verifies and documents all deliveries of supplies, equipment and various goods to the hospital.
• Maintains log of departments receiving goods.

USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Woodlands Parkway is seeking a motivated Materials Tech to join our team. We have 4 OR rooms and 1 treatment room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Orthopedics, Neurology, ENT, Pain Management, Podiatry, Plastic Surgery.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Job Summary
