Job summary

Trans-Tech is seeking a Warehouse/Shipping Clerk in Adamstown, MD to handle shipping, receiving, stocking, and distribution. You will verify orders against invoices, prepare items for shipment, and enter data into the ERP system.

This is a hands-on role requiring physical lifting and light forklift operation in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include maintaining records, working in ISO-compliant settings, and collaborating on self-directed teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to regularly lift 10 lbs. and occasionally 55-60 lbs.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse dock equipment and drive a non-CDL truck.
• Ability to work in dusty environments.
• Ability to stand up to 8 hours.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Must demonstrate safe work habits.
• Operate under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
• Work with attention to detail.
• Maintain accurate electronic and written records.
• Work in a fast paced, high- volume environment.
• Ability to work on self-directed teams.
• Requires basic Word and Excel skills.
• 2-3 years’ experience in warehouse/inventory control environment.
• Experience using an ERP system.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of products.
• Check goods against purchase orders or invoices and maintain records.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $21.00 Hourly

Position Description: Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges.Prepares and maintains records of items shipped and enters data into ERP system. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of products shipped. Reviews customer orders. Examines, stocks and distributes products and materials in inventory warehouses or manufacturing lines.
