Job summary

South Shore Health is seeking a part-time Materials Associate in Weymouth, MA to support daily materials operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment. The role emphasizes accurate documentation and adherence to safety standards within the SSH campus.

Under supervision, you will assist with the medical-surgical supply program for designated patient areas, handle equipment delivery and pickup, and support related mail and copy services as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year in stock, inventory or receiving.
• Proficient with basic computer programs (Word, Excel).
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent telephone communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 150 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily materials operations including receiving, storage, and distribution.
• Maintain records of assignments and delivery verification.
• Support medical-surgical supply program for designated patient care areas.
• Respond to emergency supply or equipment requests.
• Provide support to mail services and copy center as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
