Job summary

South Shore Health in Weymouth, MA is seeking a Part-time Patient Transporter to join the SSH Patient Transport team. Under the direction of the Manager of Patient Transport and Visitor Services, you will provide prompt, courteous service, transport patients using wheelchairs or stretchers, and assist with transporting specimens and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients between departments using wheelchairs, stretchers or beds.
• Assist with patient transfers and monitor patient condition during transport.

• Coordinate with nursing staff and ensure proper labeling and handling of patient belongings.
