Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking a Materials Supervisor to lead inbound and internal material flow across the warehouse, reporting to the Sr. Materials Supervisor.

You will oversee receiving, kitting, inventory operations, and inventory control to ensure material availability for production and customers. You will collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain, driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives while coaching a team of Material Handlers across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 3–5 years of related experience in a distribution or manufacturing setting.
• Experience leading or supervising teams.
• Strong understanding of receiving, inventory control and kitting processes.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead inbound warehouse and material flow operations across receiving and kitting.
• Ensure accurate material receipt, transactions, and availability.
• Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counts and corrective actions.
• Establish and enforce standard work and safety practices in the warehouse.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Planning, Production, Quality, and Procurement.
• Coach and develop team members to drive performance and accountability.
• Monitor performance with KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Escalate operational risks and support resolution with leadership.
