Job summary

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and ensures all employees are following company Safety Policies.
• Always keeping a clean and orderly work area according to 5S principles.
• Provide support for all projects, encompassing equipment, manpower, and material requirements.
• Resolves job material discrepancies and communicates resolution to job in a timely manner.
• Trains new employees and identifies deficiencies.
• Provides Performance Evaluation Feedback.
• Lead and influence plant employees to participate in the implementation of improvement projects.
• Provides employee coaching and development – gives employee performance reviews.
• Develop and continuously improve processes to improve the efficiency of moving and storing materials throughout the manufacturing process.
• Ensures the established Receiving and Material Handling procedure are being followed by the department.
• Facilitate communication regarding materials between Receiving, Production, and Shipping.
• Analyze, calculate, and monitor inventory levels.
• Monitors project schedules and proactively implement necessary adjustments to accommodate changes.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 5+ years inventory management, or material handling experience with 3+ years of management experience

Travel: 0‑10%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, or 6 pm to 6 am Monday through Friday. Works a sufficient schedule to meet the expectations of the role.
