Job summary

Enerpac Tool Group is hiring a Materials Supervisor in Cortland, NY. The role leads shipping/receiving, inventory control, production planning, procurement, and customer service to maintain material flow and meet demand.

The successful candidate will drive ERP/MRP excellence, manage supplier relationships, and support continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on on-time delivery and inventory optimization. Monday–Friday with some after-hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience managing shipping/receiving, inventory control, production planning, and procurement functions.
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and data analytics.
• Experience leading supplier negotiations and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management to ensure material availability and optimum levels.
• Lead procurement activities including supplier selection, contracting, and performance management.
• Direct production planning, scheduling, shipping, receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment.
• Develop reports and analytics to improve data accuracy and operational visibility.
• Travel up to 20% may be required for supplier visits and audits.
