Job summary

Adecco partners with a well-established aerospace and advanced manufacturing company in the Bay Area for a Supply Chain / Planning leadership hire. The role owns the master production schedule and works across operations to drive on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have 6–10 years in production planning, strong MRP experience, and proven Excel/data analysis skills, plus prior leadership exposure. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with MRP systems.
• Ability to manage complex schedules and resolve constraints.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis for planning decisions.
• Prior leadership or team lead experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the master production schedule (MPS) across multiple business units.
• Align materials, capacity, and demand to ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead weekly/monthly schedule attainment meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Release production orders and collaborate with procurement on material availability.
• Manage and develop a team of planners.
• Drive KPIs, performance tracking, and corrective actions.
• Support NPI initiatives within Supply Chain.
• Manage E&O inventory analysis and disposition.

What you’ll own:

• Full ownership of the master production schedule (MPS) across multiple business units
• Alignment of materials, capacity, and demand to ensure on-time delivery
• Leading weekly/monthly schedule attainment meetings with cross-functional teams
• Releasing production orders and partnering with procurement to ensure material availability
• Managing and developing a team of planners
• Driving KPIs, performance tracking, and corrective actions
• Supporting NPI initiatives within Supply Chain
• Managing excess & obsolete (E&O) inventory analysis and disposition
