Job summary

Nextek, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead Materials operations in our Alabama facility. You will oversee inventory accuracy, coordinate material flow, and supervise a team of material personnel ensuring timely shipments and production support.

The role requires ERP/MRP experience (Epicor a plus), strong communication skills, and a track record in electronics manufacturing environments. On-site position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of MRP II / ERP systems; Epicor experience is a plus.
• Associate's degree in business administration or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions and safety rules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• 3–5 years' experience in Materials Warehouse Operations in an electronics environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and trains Material personnel on processes and systems.

• Coordinates flow of materials with Manufacturing Managers and Supervisors.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform physical and administrative tasks involved in a warehouse environment.
• Supervises and trains Material personnel on processes and systems, reviews goals daily, and identifies root causes daily if goals are not met.
• Maintains accurate inventory and performs regular cycle counts.
• Confers with Manufacturing Managers and Supervisors to coordinate the flow of materials within the organization.
• Works effectively with Co-workers, Customers, and others by sharing ideas constructively and positively.
• Actively participates in the following supervisory activities: interviewing and hiring employees, performance appraisals, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Skills/Experience/Education/Training Required

• Must have good working knowledge of MRP II / ERP systems. Epicor experience is a plus.
• Associate's degree in business administration or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand work instructions, specifications, safety rules, and follow operational guidelines.
• Very good written and verbal communication skills. Be able to communicate with all levels within the organization.
• Proficient computer software skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Minimum of three to five (3-5) years' experience in Materials Warehouse Operations within an electronics environment.
• Must be qualified to work in the United States.
