Job summary

Aegis Manufacturing & Engineering is seeking a Materials Supervisor for the Hendersonville facility. You will lead about 15–20 shipping and receiving staff, manage inbound and outbound materials, and ensure accurate inventory to support production.

The role requires strong SAP experience, exceptional communication, and a track record of implementing process improvements. Day-shift, onsite position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• At least 5 years in warehouse/materials/shipping & receiving.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead 15–20 shipping and receiving staff.
• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, shipping, and delivery of materials to production.
• Maintain inventory levels and minimize shortages; use SAP to track records and resolve discrepancies.
• Lead cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation.
• Improve warehouse procedures, FIFO, and 5S standards.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and inventory accuracy.

Materials Supervisor — Day ShiftLocation: Hendersonville, NC area | OnsiteSalary: $80,000–$90,000 annuallyA growing manufacturer is seeking a Materials Supervisor to lead warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations supporting a new manufacturing facility. This is an opportunity to help establish processes, develop a team, and improve material flow as the operation grows.The team will initially operate from a temporary location until the new facility is completed.
