Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Material Planner for a new, state-of-the-art facility in Arden, NC. You will develop long-term supply plans, coordinate material availability with production, and work with buyers and scheduling teams to maintain on-time delivery.

After training, the role offers a hybrid schedule with 1–2 remote days per week. You will use SAP and ERP systems to track material flow, analyze inventory, and produce reports on supplier performance and key metrics.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, or material planning.
• Knowledge of planning concepts and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems required (SAP preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term supply plans based on production forecasts.
• Coordinate material availability to support production schedules.
• Resolve material shortages, backlogs, and supply chain disruptions.
• Work with suppliers to obtain recovery plans and improve delivery performance.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve supply issues.
• Communicate shipping requirements to suppliers for on-time deliveries.
• Utilize SAP and ERP systems to execute supplier schedules and monitor delivery performance.
• Track raw material inventory and minimize excess stock.
• Create reports to evaluate supplier performance and key supply chain metrics.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production Scheduling, Supplier Quality, and Customer Service teams.

Pay: $29-$36/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-time | Hybrid schedule available after training (1-2 remote days per week)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Material Planner to support a brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility focused on developing advanced power systems for data centers and microgrid applications. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing operation at the ground level and play a key role in ensuring materials are available to support production while optimizing inventory levels.

The Material Planner will work closely with production planning, customer service, purchasing, supplier quality, and scheduling teams to develop and execute supply plans, resolve material shortages, and drive on-time delivery performance.

Responsibilities

• SAP experience strongly
