Job summary

Lexington Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a Materials Supervisor for our Coon Rapids, MN facility. The role oversees material flow, inventory control, and warehouse supervision to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

You will partner with production, procurement, and logistics to optimize processes, reduce waste, and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment. On-site position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or warehousing.
  • Familiar with automated shipping routines, MRP software, and forklift operation.
  • LEAN manufacturing knowledge and continuous improvement is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

About the role:

The Materials Supervisor role is responsible for overseeing the flow of materials through our facility, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining high standards of quality within our warehouses. This position works closely with production teams, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies while also minimizing waste and reducing costs. Leadership skills are very important in this position because the Materials Supervisor also provides supervision to all warehouse personnel.


This position is on-site at our Coon Rapids location. The pay scale for this role is $75,000-$93,000 annually.

Job Requirements:

Educational Background and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing and/or a Warehousing environment is required.
  • Preferably this candidate will also be familiar with using automated shipping routines, MRP software systems, and operating a forklift.
  • Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus!

Leadership and mentality:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Tech Savvy:

  • Competence with Microsoft Office software is a must.
