Job summary

VPET USA, LLC is seeking a Facility Material Coordinator / Shipping Lead to manage daily shipping activities and material movements across the plant. Role includes inventory control, material transfers, purchase requisitions, and maintenance coordination to support production.

The ideal candidate will ensure inventory accuracy, safe operations, and timely availability of materials for production and plant operations. A proactive, organized mindset with strong communication is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in the materials department, or equivalent capacity; plastics manufacturing preferable.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Proactive, organized and able to communicate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving to ensure timely movement of materials and finished goods.
• Prepare and process shipping documents (bills of lading, packing slips, labels).
• Operate forklift and maintain certification as per safety policies.
• Verify incoming/outgoing shipments for accuracy and quantity.
• Maintain shipping records and update ERP system.
• Support inventory verification and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
• Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Customer Service and other departments.
• Ensure safe, clean, organized shipping/warehouse areas and adherence to safety standards.
