Job summary

The University of Dayton Research Institute invites qualified applicants to apply for the Program Manager, Materials Sector. This role coordinates cross‑functional teams to ensure project alignment with cost, schedule and technical requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business; 3–6 years in project coordination or program management.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with cost, schedule and deliverables.
  • Experience with program management processes and routine reporting.
  • Hands-on experience using Deltek Costpoint for project setup, data validation and financial tracking.
  • Knowledge of contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M) and contract compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Track project schedules and milestones; maintain project dashboards.
  • Organize and format technical and financial data for reports.
  • Coordinate cost, schedule and deliverables to support execution across teams.
  • Apply PMO processes to maintain data quality and inform timelines and performance.
