Job summary

Elite Recruiting Co. is seeking a Project Manager in Dayton, OH to own the delivery of a technical program from planning through execution. This role links engineering work with executive stakeholders, requiring clear progress reporting and proactive risk management.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and produce formal technical documentation to keep the program on track and aligned with contracts and milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, or business field.
• Proven experience managing projects in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong technical writing skills and experience producing status reports/deliverables.
• Track record of building and presenting executive-level materials.
• Experience managing project budgets, cost tracking, and schedules.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly status reports to program stakeholders and leadership.
• Build and present executive-level slide decks summarizing program status, risks, and next steps.
• Manage project deliverables, tracking completion against milestones and deadlines.
• Manage project costs and budgets, tracking spend against plan and flagging variances early.
• Write and maintain clear technical documentation across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering and operations teams to keep deliverables on schedule.
• Communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly to both technical teams and executive audiences.
• Escalate roadblocks proactively and drive them to resolution.
