Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Material Resource Planner to manage direct material flow for the Generator Components COE. The MRP ensures materials are available to execute the schedule and that ERP/MES transactions are accurate, while applying lean principles to improve processes.

You will release production orders, manage material movements, monitor shortages, maintain BOM/master data, and collaborate with operations, shop scheduling, COE, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing or supply chain experience
• Experience with ERP systems and material planning
• Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely creation and release of Production Orders and Purchase Requisitions to support the master schedule.
• Provide material responsibility for assembly, machining, and subcontract processes and material movements.
• Identify critical material shortages and coordinate corrective actions and obsolete stock.
• Monitor performance to the plan and mitigate risk to meet the plan.
• Maintain accurate inventory and BOM data for assigned parts.
• Maintain data cleanliness and analyze exception messages in ERP/MES systems.
• Monitor schedule adherence, on-time release, and lead times for work orders.
• Interface with Operations, Shop Scheduling, COE, Service Center Managers, and GE organizations.
• Complete all required training in defined timelines.
