Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain/Logistics/Business Administration).
• 5+ years in materials management, procurement, or supply chain; at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, procurement processes, and materials planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement materials management strategies to ensure timely material availability and minimize disruptions.
• Oversee material planning, shipping/receiving, inbound/outbound logistics, warehouse, and inventory control across multiple units.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Planning, and Project Management to meet delivery requirements and optimize stock levels.
• Monitor inventory metrics, analyze trends, adjust stock levels and reduce excess or obsolete inventory.
• Lead and mentor a team of materials professionals including shipping, inbound/outbound logistics, and warehouse personnel.
• Ensure materials meet quality standards and regulatory requirements and resolve shortages or delays.
• Implement and optimize inventory control systems to track usage and reduce holding costs.
• Report on KPIs like inventory turnover, on-time delivery, and supplier performance.
